Biography
Fiona Theodoroff is a Limited Licensed Counselor dedicated to providing evidence-based counseling services to clients. She integrates multiple theoretical approaches to meet the needs of each client. Fiona enjoys working with adolescents and adults but has experience working with individuals of all ages. Fiona has specific experience and interest working with Developmental Disabilities, Autism, ADHD, Life Transitions, Anxiety, Depression, Parenting Stress, and Cases with Court Involvement. Fiona is able to tailor the counseling experience to you. As Fiona’s client, YOU are in the driver’s seat when it comes to your therapy.
Fiona grew up in Metro Detroit. She moved to Grand Rapids in 2015 to attend Aquinas College, where she studied Psychology. During her time at Aquinas, Fiona was a student assistant in the college’s chapter of the federal TRiO Program. Within this program, she specialized in the college’s Accessibility Services. While at Aquinas, Fiona spent a summer in Detroit working at The Children’s Center, where she assisted with research related to developmental disabilities in children.
In 2025, Fiona completed a Master of Arts Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University. During her time at Northwestern, Fiona worked as a Crisis Counselor at Common Ground in Pontiac, Michigan through the 988 line and the Michigan Crisis and Action Line. Fiona holds certifications in Counseling on Access to Lethal Means through the Zero Suicide Institute, Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) through Living Works, Psychological First Aid (PFA) through the National Child Traumatic Stress
Network (NCTSN).
In her free time, you can find Fiona playing piano, singing, or watching funny animal videos. She loves spending time with her friends and family. She also loves checking in on her “adopted” lioness, Sarara, through “Ewaso Lions,” a Lion Conservation Program.
